From this clip in the movie we can see Matt Damon, the protagonist in a movie recalling moments in his life which seemingly haunt him. The use of editing in this clip suggests it's a dream because of the fact that everything seemed disoriented and uneasy, a lot of the things in the begging of the clip is either slowed down of fast forwarded.
From this I came up with an idea for the opening of our work. I really liked the way in which the little clips from his dreams were fast-forwarded causing the audience only to see a little glimpse of the little things but through recalling things from the first movie ( Bourne Identity ) , fans of the movie will know what these dreams are about. As an assassin being often incorporated with things that are hidden I think that using little things from this movie such as handheld shots which show a very disorientated individual.
Following is a rough outline of what i have in mind.
A person on the phone, diegetic sound in the background.
shots of photographs of someone getting followed then shows
sheets of information about the person, then shots of a gun and bullets.
Shots of roads at night
Sound of a gunshot followed by police sirens.
Ends with an image of someone's hand / news headline, seems to be dead,
gesture of the hands suggests the person is dead.
